Sydney Cardiovascular Symposium

December 1 - 2, 2022

The Sydney Cardiovascular Symposium, now in its fifth year, is jointly hosted by the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute and the Heart Research Institute.

This year's theme is 'Genomics, Diversity and Equity - Ensuring benefit for all'.

The symposium will finish with the signature "Princesses' Lecture". We are delighted that Professor Alex Brown, Australia's pre-eminent researcher in Cardiovascular Diseases amongst Indigenous Australians, will deliver the Princesses' Lecture this year.

The symposium will be an opportunity for cardiovascular researchers to showcase their work with prizes for Rising Stars, Best Speakers and Best Posters.

This year, the event will be a return to face-to-face sessions. Travel and childcare assistance, accessibility options and travel grants now available on our Getting There page.
